Сюжет: Исторический сериал о правящей династии Тюдоров, а именно – о годах правления короля Генриха VIII.
Мое мнение:
Очередной исторический сериал с эффектными декорациями (хоть иногда и откровенно картонными или компьютерными), красивыми лицами, качественной картинкой и захватывающим сюжетом.
Джонатан Рис-Майерс хорош, но, ИМХО, не всегда справляется с ролью.
Сэм Нил – Кардинал Вулзи – на высоте. Натали Дорман тоже неплохо выложилась.
Иногда коробят некоторые нестыковки – например, почему какой-то секретарь советует что-то кардиналу, почему кардинал безнаказанно распускает руки, почему на тайном совете присутствуют незначительные поэты, и тому подобные ляпы, наверняка, необходимые для сюжетной связки.
Как и в «Риме», интересно – насколько исторически верен сериал? Сколько там правды, а сколько вымысла?
По большому счету, смотреть можно. Этакое интересное, необременительное кино для вечерних просмотров, когда хочется чего-то не очень сложного, но затягивающего.
В каком-то из отзывов о «Тюдорах» прочитала: «Жаль, что я уже видел «Рим».
Так вот, – мне тоже жаль, что «Рим» я смотрела до «Тюдоров». Иначе бы точно поразилась. А так… четверка.
