Сюжет:
Перед нами 52 г. до н.э. Гай Юлий Цезарь победил в восьмилетней войне и готовится к возвращению в Рим, где пока правит Помпей Великий, старый друг Цезаря.
Мое мнение:
Очень красивый сериал о Древнем Риме: его нравах, традициях, политических междоусобицах и интригах.
Не знаю, на сколько сериал исторически достоверен, но смотреть его интересно.
В одной из главных ролей – возмужавший со времен Trainspotting Кевин МакКид.
Рим вне богатых покоев – очень грязный и безалаберный, что, думаю, близко к истине. Нравы довольно свободные, вплоть до извращений, что тоже известный факт.
У сериала несколько сезонов, а я не досмотрела еще первый, но мне нравится!
Картинка красивая, актеры хорошие, и вообще – качественный «продукт».
